i-connect is a Taipei-based market-entry integrator: one team that carries a foreign brand from “we’d like to sell in Taiwan” to products moving through Taiwanese channels — compliance, import, storefronts, shelves and marketing, operated locally while you stay wherever you are. We run brand-landing projects in both directions (Taiwanese brands into Southeast Asia through our Malaysian arm PINGLOBAL, and foreign brands into Taiwan), which means the advice you get is operator’s advice, not a consultant’s deck.
What we operate
- Regulatory & import layer. Category screening, TFDA pathways (food two-track, cosmetics notification + PIF, supplement registration), Traditional Chinese labeling, customs and border inspection — with our entities acting as importer of record and registration holder under contracts that protect your ownership.
- E-commerce operation. Storefront setup and daily operation across momo, Shopee, PChome and Coupang: Taiwanese-register content, pricing architecture, campaign calendar execution, customer service and monthly sales-and-inventory reporting.
- Warehousing & fulfilment. Taiwan 3PL with next-day capability and convenience-store pickup integration — the service level Taiwanese buyers treat as baseline.
- Physical retail listing. Consignment-based entry into POYA and Taiwan’s beauty-lifestyle tier on our agency model, and buyer-ready preparation for supermarket and specialty channels.
- Field & trade marketing. Pop-up execution across creative parks, department stores and transit hubs; Food Taipei and trade-show support from sample import to booth staffing to lead follow-up.
- Growth marketing. KOC seeding and unboxing programs, group-buy activation, LINE official-account CRM, and compliance-checked creator briefs.
How an engagement runs
1 — Fit assessment. Send your product list; we screen categories, flag regulatory lanes and timelines, and give you an honest read on channel fit. 2 — Entry plan & quotation. A concrete sequence — SKUs, channels, calendar — with services quoted per item and confirmed upfront; no hidden charges. 3 — Operate & report. We execute the local layer end to end and report monthly, so decisions stay data-driven and yours.
Who this is for
- Consumer brands (food & beverage, beauty, supplements, lifestyle, mother & baby) from any market evaluating Taiwan.
- Brands that want Taiwan revenue without building a Taiwan subsidiary first — the validate-then-incorporate logic in do you need a Taiwan company?
- Malaysian brands: see our dedicated limited-cohort Malaysian Brands × Taiwan E-Commerce program.
Why an integrator beats assembling vendors
The alternative to one operating team is a self-assembled stack: a compliance consultant, a customs broker, a 3PL, an e-commerce agency, a marketing shop — each competent, none accountable for the whole. The failure mode is always the seams: the label the consultant approved that the broker’s declaration didn’t match; the campaign the agency sold that the warehouse couldn’t ship; the price the marketplace demanded that nobody had modeled against landed cost. Coordinating five vendors across time zones becomes the brand’s unpaid second job, and every seam bills separately when it tears. An integrator collapses the seams: one team holds the label file, the customs record, the inventory truth, the storefronts and the campaign calendar — so decisions travel in hours, errors get caught where they start, and there is exactly one throat to choke and one report to read. The honest trade-off: you concede some best-of-breed choice in each slot in exchange for the whole system actually working as one. For brands past a certain size with in-house Taiwan management, assembling specialists can make sense; for everyone entering, the integrated model is why the entry succeeds at all.
